Residents of Gilgil, Nakuru County, were captivated today, Tuesday, November 11, 2025, as JM Kariuki’s daughter and granddaughter, who live in the United States, addressed mourners with eloquent American accents.

The two spoke during the burial of their mother and grandmother, Terry Kariuki, the widow of the late Hon. JM Kariuki, a revered political figure in Kenya’s history.
