What Fearless Sifuna Told President Ruto During His Fiery Mombasa Speech

ODM Secretary-General and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna delivered one of the most explosive speeches of the day during the ODM@20 celebrations .

Held in Mombasa, sending shockwaves toward State House with a bold declaration: “Afadhali waniue!”

Speaking before thousands of jubilant supporters, Sifuna accused the government of intimidating opposition leaders and interfering with political freedom.

He said Kenyans were tired of constant threats and deserved leaders who could speak the truth without fear.

His fiery message drew loud applause as he condemned what he termed as attempts to weaken the ODM party and silence its leadership.

Sifuna insisted that ODM remained strong despite internal and external challenges, adding that the party’s commitment to justice and good governance would not be shaken.

He urged supporters to stay unified and prepare for the next political chapter, saying ODM’s influence across the country was still unmatched.

He also called on the government to focus on addressing the high cost of living instead of “targeting those who speak for ordinary citizens.”

According to Sifuna, Kenyans were struggling with rising food prices, unemployment, and economic uncertainty issues he said needed urgent action.

The ODM@20 celebration brought together top party officials, youth leaders, and supporters from different parts of the country.

The event marked two decades of ODM’s role in shaping Kenya’s political landscape.

Sifuna’s fearless remarks added intensity to the ceremony, setting the stage for what could be a heated political season ahead.

As ODM repositions itself and its leaders double down on defending the party’s legacy and future direction.
